It helps to keep the mane and tail tangle free and helps manage the mane and tail without drying. Directions for Use Before applying Head to Tail Plus™ Detangler & Conditioner, shampoo hair and coat with Horses Prefer™ Citronella Plus™, Natural Oatmeal™ or Peach Nectar™ Botanical Shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Then apply a small amount (2 teaspoons) of Head to Tail Plus™ Detangler & Conditioner into wet or dry mane and tail, massaging into hair and scalp. Continue to apply small amounts as you gently brush or comb until all tangles are gone.
